Wolves! Decades ago, seeing a wolf caused a chill of fear running down someone’s spine, but today, that feeling has long been replaced by admiration and fascination. Hunted for centuries all over the world for their fur, for sport, or just for fun, these marvelous apex predators faced extinction. Today, far away from most humans, this residential pack of currently nine adults and six pubs calls the Opoyastin River, about 250km south of Churchill, their territory.
