Arctic Terns are small, gray-and white birds known for their annual 25000 miles migration. During the Arctic spring, this slender bird builds a nest on the ground. Both the male and the female take turns sitting on up to two eggs, feeding each other and fiercly defending their nest. Once the young can fly in the late summer, they soon start one of the longest migrations, flying all the way down for the Antartic summer.
